Consciously investing in the right clothing for your body type

There are no two people on the planet who are exactly the same. Not only do we all have different personalities, different styles, but we also distinctly look different. Tall or short, curvy or skinny, we come in all shapes and sizes. Look around! Everybody is different. Hence, Clothing for your body type should also be different. Apple

You’re likely an apple shape, if you’re curvy with a less defined waist, (also known as a circle or round body type). Here are some characteristics of apple shaped body:

  • Fairly formed bust, shoulders, waist, and hips. But shoulders and hips may be slightly narrower.
  • Undefined waistline.
  • large bust.

Pieces that accentuate your shoulders, neckline, or bust are recommended.

Pear

You’re likely a pear shaped body (also known as a triangle body type), if your hips are broader than your shoulders. Here are some characteristics of pear shaped body:

  • Hips and thighs wider than shoulders and bust.
  • Defined waist that is narrow compared to hips

Hourglass

You’re likely an hourglass shape, if your shoulders and hips are fairly balanced with a defined waist. Here are some characteristics of hourglass-shaped body:

Inverted Triangle

You’re likely an inverted triangle if your shoulders are broader than your hips. Here are some characteristics of inverted triangle shaped body:

You’re likely a rectangle if your four measurements are fairly uniform and you have a straighter build.  Here are some characteristics of rectangle-shaped body:

  • Shoulders, bust, and hip measurements are fairly uniform.
  • Waist is more straight than curvy.
